Goldkeep is the trading name of freelance computer consultant Steve Burns.

Since 2002, worked as Test Analyst:

• as part of integrated system test team at npower covering all aspects of utility industry;
  

• at various divisions with Lloyds Banking Group;
  

• at Arcadia on internationalisation retail project;
  

• and others.
  

ISEB/ISTQB Qualifications:

• ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Test Analysis;

• ISTQB/CTAL Certified Tester Advanced Level - Test Manager;

• ISTQB/CTAL Certified Tester Advanced Level - Test Analyst;

• ISTQB/CTAL Certified Tester Advanced Level - Technical Test Analyst;

• ISEB Intermediate Certificate in Test Analysis;

• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Test Analysis;

• ITIL Version 3 Foundation.

Earlier career:

• Many years as developer on ICL hardware using the VME skill set: COBOL, IDMS, TPMS, SCL, etc.
  

• Other development experience of Unix (including MicroFocus COBOL and embedded SQL), IBM mainframe, JCL, COBOL II and COBOL/OS390, also MS Office products and Visual Basic.

• Also non-commercial internet experience: HTML, Dynamic HTML, web site development (see below).
  

• Training courses in Java, C, Unix, Visual Basic.
  

• Roles undertaken include programmer, analyst/programmer, analyst, tester, team leader, implementor and systems manager.
  

• Various application areas, including many years in Local Government and Utilities.
  

  Preferred locations - within commuting distance of Leeds: essentially Yorkshire and Greater Manchester.
